I have a customer who is interested in connecting to a postgres DB with JMP. They have a custom query they would like to use to pull the data (it has some complexity that Query Builder does not support), however, they would also like to prompt the user to select inputs (e.g., time ranges, product ID's, etc.) to select a subset of the data.
I am not aware of Query Builder's ability to use custom SQL AND user prompts (like the Filter to select where...) Do others know if this is possible?
Do others have suggestions for how my customer could achieve what they want? (Right now I am thinking of suggesting that they create a view or tables from their custom query in the DB and then use Query Builder to create the user interface.)
