What happened to ordering in Discussions?The ordering of discussions seems to have changed and community is basically un-usable at the moment (at least from my viewpoint).
It should be sorted by topic start date as I can only change it to by latest post date, but who knows what it is doing.
It feels like since the new community page, it has just been getting worse and worse... and the many issues it has haven't been fixed.
Re: What happened to ordering in Discussions?Hi. There have not been any changes to the behavior of the Discussion ordering to my knowledge (i.e. we have not made any explicit changes nor have there been any platform changes that I've seen).
The posts can be sorted two ways: Latest Post Date or Topic Start Date. Only one option is given within the menu. The one you do not see is the one being used. (Note: the title does not seem to change based on the selected option but the order of the posts do.) Are you not seeing a change in the order when selecting the option?
Since the initial re-design, our focus has been on data cleanup/categorization, how we can start to promote that content, and other sites within the Community (e.g. Discovery Summit). Aside from the design, the Discussions area has been untouched so there should not have been a loss of functionality. We have implemented a few of the comments original suggested when the new design was launched (filtering and sorting on home page).
Aside from the previously mentioned comments, do you have additional ones to add or are you continually frustrated at the existing ones?
