What inspired this Wish List Request?
Many Pharma users start out using Graph Pad Prism and need to/want to/are forced to switch to JMP. Continuous data trends, like from chromatography, fermentation or virtually any on-line process monitoring data that is overlayed on the same Y axis scale is difficult to visualize because each trace obscures the others.
Please describe the new or improved feature or solution you would like to see.
One Solution is to "Nudge" or space the levels on the y-axis by some interval so that all the traces can be visualized without overlap. Currently the only solution is to use JSL or complex column formulas to reformat the data.
In graph pad prism, there is an option to "nudge" the data. The Y-axis is no longer displayed (because it irrelevant) and nudge distance is displayed.

What would the value be to you and/or other users if this new feature is provided?
This feature would make it easier to visualize scientific data, which is a perceived weak point for JMP's graph builder
Is this an external customer request?
Voyager Therapeutics - opportunity to displace 100 GP license
Apellis Therapeutics - many users from academic backgrounds, new hires, don't use JMP
Beam Therapeutics, Sumitomo, Vertex... virtually any small to mid sized Pharma development company that works with biological components of therapeutics drug products in development or production.
Is there a competitive software package that has this feature or solution that we should be aware of?
Will this impact a renewal, expansion, or adoption at a customer, and does this put an account at risk if we do not address this?
