- Comparison of analytical tools based on open data on meteorological factors that are a compound risk factor for emergency transport due to heat stroke -
This presentation is a qualitative study comparing the convenience of simple analysis of structured data using JMP and chatGPT-4o for open data. The topic is "Searching for meteorological factors that are a compound risk factor for emergency transport due to heat stroke," and the two analysis tools are compared using a decision tree, a machine learning method.
Since the purpose of this study was to "perform data analysis easily and quickly," the primary evaluation focus was on the visibility and readability of the output obtained in a short amount of time from the creation of this dataset to its analysis.
Comparing the outputs of both, JMP's output was easy to see and read, while chatGPT-4o's output was difficult to read. It was also confirmed that chatGPT-4o's output was poorly reproducible.
Given its recent popularity and high extensibility, chatGPT-4o may appear easy for beginners to use, but for simple analysis of structured data, JMP has better visibility and readability, and is also more reproducible, suggesting that it is an analysis tool more suited to beginners.
