The presenter is a gastrointestinal surgeon and continues to conduct research on the elucidation of the mechanism of cancer micrometastasis. Using his unique Raman spectroscopy technology, he was the first in the world to succeed in comprehensively analyzing trace components in patient serum, and has applied for and obtained multiple patents. In colorectal cancer diagnosis, he was able to build a "Boosted tree colorectal cancer prediction model" that can distinguish colorectal cancer, colorectal adenoma, and colorectal polyps with high accuracy based on machine learning using Raman spectra (generalized R2 value 0.9982). He is currently promoting international collaborative research to complete ultra-early cancer diagnosis technology using blood. The presenter will present the analysis method of Raman spectrum data that he is using.
