In celebration of JMP’s anniversary, which we proudly celebrate every year on September 35, we’re excited to announce that the next JMP Global Recharge Day will be on Friday, October 4.
And this is a very special year: JMP is turning 35!!! We’ll celebrate JMP’s 35th anniversary on Oct. 2; details will be announced soon.
Some of our newer team members may be surprised to learn that September 35 is indeed a very special day here at JMP!
JMP’s very first release was scheduled for September 1989. Although unanticipated delays pushed that release into October, the JMP team’s unwavering determination led to the creation of September 35, commemorating the actual release date of October 5.
So, what does that mean for all of you? It means that we will take Friday, October 4 off to recharge and celebrate what makes JMP exceptional and why it’s such a fantastic place to work. This year we’ve chose to celebrate this milestone on October 4 since it falls on a Friday. (Please note, for our colleagues in China, where October 4 is a national holiday, their Global Recharge Day will be observed on September 30).
Enjoy this well-deserved long weekend! It’s a chance for everyone to disconnect from emails, cancel Teams calls, and take a break from coding.
