In the case of energy-saving V-belts, it is a product that contributes to the environment by reducing energy loss occurring during the power transmission process, but there is no clear reduction-related formula for calculating the reduction amount, so it is difficult to confirm the reduction amount other than through actual measurement evaluation. However, calculating the reduction amount through actual measurement is a task that requires excessive time and resources, so the need for a formula that can be applied uniformly is emerging. The factors mentioned in the belt transmission theory are largely divided into four types, and each is defined as X1 to X4. As a result of confirming the main factor through screening using DOE, it was estimated that X1 among the factors would be the main factor. Through the screening process, the main factor was estimated through the experimental design, the progress of the designed experiment, and the correlation analysis of the derived results, and the modeling using the Fit model and neural network analysis was performed centered on the estimated factor, and the factor was finally confirmed. As a result of comparing the derived factor with the belt transmission theory, the theoretical validity was also secured, and through this, a method for establishing a reduction formula was secured.
