Traditionally, JMP has been widely used for R&D for new product development in the manufacturing industry, and for quality and process analysis in manufacturing sites. However, JMP's diverse and convenient functions can be widely used not only in R&D and manufacturing, but also in various tasks and processes such as marketing, human resources, finance, sales, and service support. In this presentation, I would like to share a case where JMP was used for decision-making in the sales sector. Compared to researchers and engineers working in manufacturing and research institutes, salespeople often lack experience or knowledge in statistics or data analysis, but I would like to share through cases that they can make upgraded decisions and solve problems by utilizing the various functions of JMP that are easy to use. The B2B sales cases that I would like to present this time are 1) Creating a Market Map using internal/external data, 2) Setting an appropriate price range through multiple regression analysis, 3) Analyzing customer purchase patterns using Graph Builder, etc. I hope that this presentation will be an opportunity to expand data analysis cases using JMP in the sales sector.
