Recently, thanks to the development of data collection technology, it is possible to easily collect various types of big data in the manufacturing process, and big data also includes information that can predict product quality. The case introduced includes Y factors, which are quality judgment results, and some categorical X factors have the characteristic of having a wide variety of categories.
We examined the possibility of predicting quality from manufacturing process data by conducting statistical analysis of supervised and unsupervised learning using various functions provided by JMP.
