Reinstall Excel AddinWe have a client who wants to do a JMP Pro trial. He is very hooked on the JMP Addin for Excel, and is concerned about this scenario:
- Has JMP on his PC
- Installs Pro trial
- Uses JMP Addin in Excel to get data into Pro
- Pro trial expires, and he decides not to purchase (Let's hope not!), or purchase is delayed.
- JMP Addin in Excel no longer directs to Standard JMP.
So questions are: Can this happen? And if so, how to fix the addin to point back to Standard JMP?

(PS: I saw a post about going through Install/Modify JMP and selecting Excel Addin, but this was for JMP 13. Does this method still work?)

I do like the idea of a 'natural consequence' of not licensing JMP Pro is the subsequent loss of selected JMP features....;-)

I don't think the Excel Add-in is a separate option in Modify, but I'm not 100% sure. However, you can usually go to the original JMP Preferences->Windows Only->Reset Associations and this should fix it. If not, an uninstall/reinstall of JMP would probably be necessary.
