The "Predictive Profile" feature allows you to examine how the Y variable changes when the X variable is changed, and how to set the X variable to achieve the Y variable's target, based on the predictive model you have created. In JMP17, this feature has been expanded, and the "Design Space Profile" option has been added, which is useful for finding the specification limits of the X variable that satisfy the specification limits of the Y variable. In addition, when using the "Predictive Profile" in "Fitting the Model," the "Suppress Extrapolation" option, which was previously only available in JMP Pro and is useful for finding X variable settings that do not cause extrapolation, is now available. In this session, we will introduce how to use these features, along with a demonstration of JMP.
