Cats, which are widely kept as pets, are known to give people positive emotions and affect cognition. The effects of pet animals on cognition have been studied in the past (Saito and Irito, 2022), but most of the research has focused on the explicit effects. In addition, no research has been conducted specifically on cats. Therefore, this study aims to examine the effect of cat images on implicit cognition using AMP (Affect Misattribution Produce). In addition, in order to examine whether the cuteness of the images used in AMP is appropriate, we will present six images of the same cat and evaluate the impressions of the images.
