Presentation title: To prevent the collapse of medical care due to employee turnover! Analysis of reasons for medical personnel leaving their jobs and changes in satisfaction before and after changing jobs
A medical system collapses when a stable and continuous system for providing medical care is no longer possible due to factors such as medical personnel leaving their jobs and hospital management deteriorating.
In the past, we have analyzed latent factors that lead to resignation in order to prevent the collapse of medical care due to resignation. Therefore, this time, we surveyed doctors, nurses, and hospital pharmacists who have resigned from their jobs, regarding the obvious factors that led to resignation and the change in job satisfaction due to job change (rate of change in satisfaction), and compared between occupations. The survey was conducted by questionnaire surveying medical professionals who were registered as monitors with an online survey company. In order to compare the reasons for resignation between occupations and age groups, a two-dimensional attachment diagram was created from correspondence analysis, and it was found that male hospital pharmacists (under 37 years old) and male doctors (under 37 years old) were attached in the same direction regarding salary and career advancement, while female hospital pharmacists (under 37 years old) and female doctors (under 37 years old) were attached in the same direction regarding marriage and child-rearing. Next, we analyzed the change in job satisfaction due to job change using partitions, and found that hospital pharmacists with no children, higher annual incomes, those under 37 years old, and unmarried people tended to have a lower job satisfaction due to job change. If we can visualize the factors related to the decrease in job satisfaction due to job change, it may be possible to discourage people from quitting their jobs, even if only a little.
