Some people may have the impression that JMP, unlike spreadsheet software, is not capable of flexible data processing. In fact, JMP has many features implemented to allow for flexible and easy data import and processing. However, some of these features are not well known, and some users still use other software for data preparation and processing. JMP 17 further refines the data import and processing functions, and in this presentation, we will pick out and introduce some of the most useful data processing features that have been expanded in JMP 17.
A systems engineer at JMP Japan. Since joining the company in 2014, he has been in charge of technical support, working to improve customer satisfaction through daily inquiries, FAQ creation, training instruction, and creation of information dissemination content on social media. In his previous job, he worked as a customer-facing engineer for mainframe cloud infrastructure at a foreign-owned IT vendor. Leveraging his background in statistical science from his student days, he has experience analyzing system failure trends and proposing countermeasures to customers.
