The first thing to do when analyzing with JMP is to import data. However, most companies allow or restrict employees to access data archives for security reasons. It is also not easy to write a service in JSL that connects to a database or FTP server. In fact, if you do not have direct access to the data or lack data engineering skills, it is a very difficult task to import data into JMP. To solve these problems, we developed a REST API-based service that transfers data from the source to JMP, and implemented a JSL script UI so that users can easily access the data needed for analysis in JMP. The service developed in Python solves security issues and allows you to utilize various open source software. This makes data collection preprocessing easy, improving the efficiency and productivity of analysis.
