Level: Intermediate
What can you make with some Legos, a webcam, razor blades, DVD-Rs and double-sided tape from your desk drawer? With an interest in keeping fish and a knowledge of chemistry, you can build a decent spectrometer. Then use JMP to build a system that can detect with amazing accuracy the presence of harmful substances in the waste of your fish in an aquarium.
The presenter will introduce his challenge to create a new 36-gallon (approximately 136 liter) aquarium using a homemade spectrometer and JMP Pro's Function Data Explorer, and to perform the same "nitrogen cycle" as is performed in aquariums.
