In 2007, there were four platforms and three distributions (Weibull, Lognormal, Exponential) under the "Survival/Reliability" menu of JMP software. More than a decade later, there are now fourteen platforms under the "Survival/Reliability" menu of JMP, and the functions of each platform are more comprehensive and powerful. Today, JMP is a leading software supplier in the reliability data analysis and engineering software market. The functions of the JMP reliability platform can meet the extremely complex needs of reliability engineers in all walks of life. At the same time, it is a daunting task for a new engineer to learn and master all the functions in a short period of time. Sometimes, it is also a challenge for experienced engineers to quickly locate the required functions and platforms, especially when engineers have long-term experience with other software and knowledge transfer is not easy. Therefore, in this speech, Dr. Liu Peng will give a comprehensive overview of the functions of the JMP reliability platform from several perspectives, such as the JMP design concept, design decisions between reliability platforms, and the functions of several major platforms. In addition to the features that most reliability engineers already know, this presentation will also introduce some unique features of JMP and the reliability platform. It is hoped that this presentation will help reliability engineers flexibly use the reliability platform.
