JMP had a strong presence at the recent Joint Statistical Meetings (JSM) in Portland, Oregon. The company's booth showcased its latest offerings and garnered significant attention from attendees.
A team of JMP employees, including Principal Systems Engineer Jordan Hiller (@Jordan_Hiller), Systems Engineer Lovy Singh (@Lovy_Singh), Senior Research Statistician Developer Caleb King (@calking), Senior Systems Engineer Kevin Potcner (@Potcner), Advanced Analytics R&D Senior Manager Ryan Lekivetz (@Ryan_Lekivetz), Global Academic Programs Director Curt Hinrichs (@curt_hinrichs), and Technical Writing Manager Michael Crotty (@michael_jmp), were on hand to assist visitors and promote the company's products.
JMP was a platinum sponsor of the event, and a conference bag sponsor – this ensured maximum visibility for the JMP

With roughly 5,600 attendees, JSM provided a prime opportunity for JMP to connect with the statistical community. In addition to the exhibition booth, Lekivetz delivered an invited session on "Designs of variable resolution robust to non-negligible two-factor interactions."
Lekivetz noted that the audience for his presentation included several prominent statisticians, such as Maria Lanzerath, Jennifer Van Mullekom, Maria Weese, Abby Nachtsheim, and Peter Goos.
Beyond Lekivetz's presentation, JMP also played a role in organizing a student paper competition at the conference. The team's involvement in this initiative further solidified JMP's commitment to supporting the next generation of statisticians.

@kathy_walker I appreciate working for an organization that supports us being part of the statistical community (and we had students asking about internships and jobs)!
Wonderful thanks for sharing @Hailee_Austin.
It's great hearing about our outreach to the statistical community and I think it showcases our unique value proposition to our customers -- empowering them to make better use of no only the tools that our talented R&D team works to maintain and develop, but the methods and tools that the community at large is benefiting the most from.
