JMP users gathered for an in-person Users Group meeting on July 18 in Penang, Malaysia.
At the registration desk, attendees were welcomed by Senior Inside Sales Account Representative Raveewan (Gib) Techaworapatana (@RaveewanT) and Sales Support Contractor Norhasina (Shina) Vazeerul Hassan (@Norhasina).
Account Executive Heppy Ng (@heppyng14) gave an opening address and brief of the itinerary of the meeting: demonstration of the latest features of JMP, presentation from our guest speaker, and a hands-on workshop for participants.
Senior Systems Engineer Jeremy Tee (@Jeremy_Tee) gave a 30-minute reveal of JMP18 Updates, Workflow Builder, and Platform Presets as our JMP presentation topic. In addition to sharing the exciting JMP18 features with our users, we were eager to present a relevant topic to help them integrate JMP deeper into their daily work.

Chia Wern is a Business Unit Manager at Pentamaster.
The third part of the event was a 40-minute interactive activity custom-made by our systems engineers Jeremy Tee, Lim Kim Hui (@lkimhui), and Mok Yin Hoong (@YinHoongMok). They divided the attendees into teams and challenged them to complete an engineering task. The challenge was designed to showcase JMP's capabilities to generate actionable insights from R&D to mass production.
Winners were picked based on their speed and results. The top three teams received a small reward for their competitive spirit.

It was a testament to their hardy engineering background and our engaging activities.
An event like this would never have happened without the hard work of the Southeast Asia T1 (Heppy, Gib, and Jeremy) and the support of Marketing Manager Gina Xie (@GinaXie).

We would like to give a special thanks to Senior Marketing Specialist Amanda Loh (@ALoh). She coordinated everything on the event day, took the pressure from the venue, and arranged travel for everyone (and food too!).
