Entity state plotI'm looking for a simple way to replicate this plot. I'm stumped. Colors correspond to different entity states (e.g. active, idle, etc.). Thanks.

Re: Entity state plotI think I worked on a similar challenge with user hogi at Discovery Manchester. Being an advanced user, he didn't need a simple approach, so this might not qualify for your user, but here's a quick mock-up of the idea. It uses stacked bars of durations. The keys are:
- compute duration values to stack, possibly including a special artificial first duration to set the start time
- give each transition a unique ID ordered by start time, (if not unique, they'll get merged when stacking), and put it in Overlay
- put the state variable in the color role

Another approach is to use a scatterplot with a tall rectangle marker and including enough repeated data values to fill the view. Here's one I did 10 years ago where there is one marker per day.

Re: Entity state plotThank you, @XanGregg! Exactly what I was looking for.
