Column Manager or Column Utility Feature requests

For consumer data

We often get messy data from suppliers where the original SPSS/SAV has not been coded well. This leaves us with big clean up jobs. Whilst we are tackling at source a few wrangling items would be very helpful.

1. Covert SPSS Labels or names to Column Names (many column names are gibberish and the question from the survey is burried in the SPSS Label or name)
2. Add Column Names as SPSS Names (often the Column name is the full survey question and it is better to have consise column names)
3. Copy SPSS Label, SPSS Name, and Column Name to Notes Property (sometimes it is just a complete mess, but you need to keep a document of what the original information was)
4. In column manager have the ability to select the information in either a cell or an entire column and copy it into another
5. In column manager have the ability to add property
6. In column manager have a feature to return to original sort order (it is very easy to accidentally resort the data and not be able to get it back again)
7. In column manager (or in Recode/Standardise Attributes) have the recoding option for the column properties. (I often need to remove a string of prefix text from SPSS Labels and/or names)
