You may know Sam already. Whether or not you do, read on. You may learn something about our new Health and Life Sciences Product Manager!
Sam's family at his daughter's wedding.Sam's family at his daughter's wedding.Sam Gardner (@SamGardner) is an industrial statistician with experience in pharma and chemical manufacturing and process development. Over the years, he has run a statistics consultancy and led experimental design and statistics at Elanco. He worked at Eli Lilly – twice. And now he can say he’s worked at JMP twice (previously Sam was a Systems Engineer and a member of Global Technical Enablement). Before that, Sam served in the US Air Force in the capacity of human factors, threat simulations and statistics instruction.
In his product manager role, he’ll focus on the needs of current and future JMP users in the Health and Life Sciences area and how we can continue to improve the capabilities of JMP to meet those needs.
“It is a great organization to work for, and I am looking forward to reconnecting with my former JMP colleagues and getting to know all the new faces at JMP since I was last there,” said Sam.
“So glad to have Sam back in the JMP family, although in spirit he never really left!” says Principal Product Manager Mia Stephens (@mia_stephens).
“I had the pleasure of working with Sam on the development of our book Building Better Models (BBM), which borrowed its name from a popular webinar series Sam helped to develop during his tenure with the Field Enablement Team.
“We’re working on a second edition of BBM (due out in late 2022), and I’m beyond excited to be working with Sam in Product Management as he helps set the vision and roadmaps for the JMP Life Science products.”
