What prompted this wishlist request?
The Variability Chart in JMP18 is harder to read than in JMP17 and earlier.
The reason is that the width of the specification line and the top and bottom of the graph have become smaller.

What would you like to see improved?
The automatically determined gap width between the spec line and the top and bottom of the Variability Chart has been restored to the same as in JMP17 and earlier.
Why is this idea important?
This improvement will improve the visibility of graphs, making it easier to create graphs that are easier to understand.
Of course, if you are only creating one graph, you can manually change the axis settings to create the graph you want.
However, when used in manufacturing, hundreds or thousands of graphs need to be created, and correcting the graphs by hand is impossible.
Also, setting the top and bottom widths of the graph using script would increase the number of control parameters, which is inappropriate and may result in outlying points not being displayed properly.
Therefore, for manufacturing users, this is a very attractive improvement that will also reduce the amount of work required to create graphs.
