JMP EA versions do not the default program

Please can you make it so that when you download EA versions that they are not the default program. That the non-EA program remains as the default. I am seeing users doing analysis in the EA versions which is against our policy as it could be used for business decisions accidentally

Hi @EmmaKeeling ,

I can see that this would be an issue. A user can easily change the default version of JMP. To do this, they can right-click on any JMP file, and select 'open with', select the respective JMP version they wish from the list of programs, and then select 'always.'

Yes this is what we do, but it is a pain to re-do this for each EA version for every jmp file type.

I hear you. Unfortunately, we don't have a good workaround because we use the full product install with EA versions, and this does update the registered version. We would need to make changes to the JMP installers to do this (which would be a little more complicated than it might seem).
