What inspired this Wish List Request? It is good data analytics practice to look at residuals and compare competing models before launching a more detailed and time consuming analysis. These capabilities are in the other JMP degradation platforms but not this one.
Please describe the new or improved feature or solution you would like to see. Add a Model List similar to the Degradation platform with fit statistics that can be used to compare alternative models selected from the options at the top of the report. Include the residuals plots similar to the Degradation platform for each model
What would the value be to you and/or other users if this new feature is provided? It would increase confidence that the selected model was the best among alternatives or even worth considering. This is particularly importance since the Bayesian fit can take several minutes.
Is this an external customer request? No
Is there a competitive software package that has this feature or solution that we should be aware of? I am not aware of one, but I don't have access to any of the Reliasoft packages. It may appear in one of them.
Will this impact a renewal, expansion, or adoption at a customer, and does this put an account at risk if we do not address this? No. However, I believe it may encourage more people to use the platform.
