Exporting Preference from JMP16 to JMP18

Hi,

I've just installed the latest JMP Pro 18. I'd like to port over the preference from my existing JMP 16 to the latest. I've attempted the methods below, but they don't seem to work.

Preference Manager Add-in (https://community.jmp.com/t5/JMP-Add-Ins/Preferences-Manager-with-import-export/ta-p/85117)
Copying the file C:\Users\elun\AppData\Roaming\SAS\JMPPro\16\JMP.PFS to jmp18 folder (C:\Users\elun\AppData\Roaming\JMP\JMPPRO\18\JMP.PFS). No change in the plotting either (without or with JMP restart). I notice that the PFS file in jmp18 folder is reset/overwritten every time the software restarts (my jmp16's PFS file is 3KB, while jmp18's is 1KB). Not sure why.

Dawn, I would reach out to support@jmp.com. Both of those methods work for me, but I am moving from JMP 17 to 18 not sure if there is a trick if you skip a version.
