What inspired this Wish List Request?
Inspired by making a lot of graph builder plots and carefully inspecting each graph for errors.
this might actually be an oversight bug.
Please describe the new or improved feature or solution you would like to see.
Currently the default legend title is "", which results in the top of the legend box being aligned to a point above the top of the graph box, see below.
Normal convention for graphs has the legend box aligned to the top or below the top of the graph box. In order to enforce correct graph formatting a blank space or " " must be entered into the legend title to get the legend box to align properly, see below.
What would the value be to you and/or other users if this new feature is provided?
Having the graph legend box automatically formatted correctly will save time getting JMP figures to look publication ready.
Is this an external customer request? Yes, customers are specifically not named here.
Is there a competitive software package that has this feature or solution that we should be aware of?
JMP figures, especially from graph builder should be publication ready like they there are in other scientific and engineering software packages
