What inspired this Wish List Request?
Automatic peak finding has the tendency to be overly sensitive resulting in a lot of manual cleanup.
Please describe the new or improved feature or solution you would like to see.
Options to tune sensitivity. One could be a manual sensitivity tuner to adjust the threshold for what is considered a peak. Another could be a setting to specify the min/max number of peaks per sample ID.
What would the value be to you and/or other users if this new feature is provided?
Customers analyzing this type of data have expressed interest in Peak Finding but their feedback is consistent in the lack of ability to tune the automatic peak finding. The amount of manual cleanup effort, especially for large sample IDs, doesn't save them enough time.
