What inspired this Wish List Request? When trying to use Functional Data Explorer, it can be challenging to show the tool initially as an approachable, simple tool when the profiler appears busy with the number of profilers for each X variable by Y variable, which can also make results hard to interpret (from a customer application point of view). For example, if you run a DoE with 5 inputs and 3 functional outputs this produces 15 profiler boxes in the prediction profiler. The main interest could only be on the shape of the first box set (i.e. Time vs. Sensor 1, 2 and 3), whilst the other terms (Supplementary Variables) only need to be shown as their current value.
In some cases the ability to change the inputs to a simple slider box would reduce the visual noise in the profiler - often times the effect of a factor on the output (i.e. intensity over time) is about the change in the whole data set/curve, rather then at specific X values (i.e. changing intensity at 1 minutes).
You can attempt to create a dashboard of the profiler of interest in one window (changing the 'Show' value to 0 in the script), then a custom profiler with slide-boxes of the input factors but as soon as the values of the supplementary variables are changed any hidden boxes reappear on the functional profiler.
Please describe the new or improved feature or solution you would like to see.
Taking the example below, it would be great to move from a profiler like this:

What would the value be to you and/or other users if this new feature is provided? The ability to simplify the profiler would increase the interpretability of the results and make it more visually appealing to new customers when demoing the tool.
Is this an external customer request? No.
Is there a competitive software package that has this feature or solution that we should be aware of? Not currently.
Will this impact a renewal, expansion, or adoption at a customer, and does this put an account at risk if we do not address this?
Had a similar comment from a customer when demoing FDE and using this case study too. It would be a handy alternative to have.
