The Discovery Summit China took place in Shanghai on May 30. JMP China welcomed more than 200 JMP enthusiasts from various industries. The attendees gathered to delve into data analysis methodologies in uncertain environments.
Alex Xu, the SE Manager of JMP China, opened the conference with his keynote speech, "Profilers, Peaks, Presets, Pipes, and Python in JMP18". He highlighted the exciting new features and functionalities of JMP18.
This was followed by a stimulating roundtable discussion on fostering a data analysis culture at the enterprise level. The panel included Edwin Zhang, Chief Engineer from Microsoft, Henry Qiao, Head of 6-Sigma/Industrial Big Data Analytics at ATL, Yuning Su, Associate Process Director at WuXi Biologics, and Alex Xu. The discussion was moderated by Emily Yang. The speakers shared their experiences and insights on promoting data analysis and its impact on cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
Three themed "Meet the Expert" Q&A booths were set up during the break session. These focused on DOE, Data Visualization, and Quality Management and Reliability. Attendees could learn more about JMP functions and interact with SEs. Additionally, two e-poster sharing sessions were conducted, where experts from Applied Materials shared their JMP cases.
In the afternoon, the summit had three sessions segmented by industry and different applications of data analysis: High-Tech, Chemical, and New Energy and Others. The audience chose their preferred topic and session. The QA sessions proved very popular as well, fostering engaging discussions between speakers and attendees.
After continuous discussions between our customers and JMP employees, the JMP Discovery Summit China has concluded. Customers shared with us that they learned a great deal from this one-day summit and are already looking forward to next year.

Congratulations on what was clearly a great and valuable conference! The visual display of the product was outstanding in all ways. LED wall main stage with beautiful graphics was very well done and allowed the entire audience to see everything clearly! The Meet the Expert and poster displays were equally impressive and valuable to the attendee experience. KUDOS to the entire team!!
