JMP employees are so capable! And creative! Even better, some of you are exceptionally talented with a camera. We know that many of you are usually most comfortable behind the scenes, but now’s your time to shine!
Announcing the first-ever JMP employee photo contest! Between now and the extended deadline of July 15, 2024, submit your high-resolution images for consideration. The winning photos will be added to JMP photo library.
Categories
- Overcoming Adversity: What does it look like when people overcome challenges? In this and other categories, we need images that include people of different ages, genders, races, abilities, etc.
- Partnership: The typical partnership image is a handshake. What other ways can we show partners and working together?
- Celebration/Success: Seeking any kind of images that demonstrate success and/or show people celebrating. Let’s see “ah-ha” moments and moments of glee.
- Teamwork: Teams come in all shapes and sizes and colors and even ages! Let’s see how you picture JMP teamwork.
- Science: How do you envision our scientific JMP users? Where do you picture them working? Where are they using JMP? What types of photos demonstrate that scientists use JMP?
- Engineering: How do you envision our engineering JMP users? Where do you picture them working? Where are they using JMP? What types of photos demonstrate that engineers use JMP?
- Office Work: We need photos of people in typical business settings, people in unusual business settings, collaboration in a conference room, working on a whiteboard, a group watching a webcast, etc...
- Using JMP: Consider up-close computer usage, individuals, groups of people, folks pointing at screens, using a mouse... JMP can be on the screen, but it doesn’t have to be.
- JMP Regions: Note that “region” photos could feature a city, office, and/or people...anything that represents one of the primary regions where we do business. We could use photos of Shanghai and Seoul, London and Paris, Tokyo and Toronto, Heidelberg and Munich...you get the idea.
- JMPers at Play: JMP people participating in sports, playing games, socializing, having fun together.
Subjects
Your subjects may be other employees, family members, friends, whomever you like as long as they (or their guardians) give us permission to use their image. You can even submit selfies!
A signed release form must be submitted for each non-employee (retiree, adult, and minor family member) pictured and for each employee pictured, other than yourself. Download the appropriate forms below, print and return the signed forms to Allison Hines (office A4266), via e-mail (with signed, scanned form attached) or interoffice mail (A4266, SAS world headquarters). Permission forms must be received by July 12. Photos without proper permission forms will be ineligible for the contest.
Eligibility
All JMP and SAS full-time employees and interns may enter the photo contest. Remote and office workers are welcome to enter. And your geography and seniority do not matter. All JMPers can participate.
Photo Styles
We’re open to any and all photography styles. Don’t limit your submissions to typical corporate styles; we’re interested in black-and-white, vibrant, silhouettes, close-ups, far-away shots, creative ideas as well as traditional business styles.
Submissions
Ready to submit your photos? Use this Form to upload photos (3 per form).
Publishing
We’ll add winning photos to the JAM photo library for use on JMP’s internal and external websites. We may also use them on third-party sites like Glassdoor or for workplace competition entries. By submitting a photo to the competition, you are agreeing that JMP may use these images as JMP sees fit.
Winners
If your photo(s) is selected to be added to our library of employee-provided photos, we’ll include you and your contribution(s) in an InsideJMP article. That gives you bragging rights! And a portion of those winners will also receive a gift basket.
