Compare strings and assign most matched

Hi,

A little challenging (maybe)

 

I am attempting to match row values to some sample list of strings and want to know which items in the sample list match the most with the row value.

here is an example of a list 

Sample_strings = { "Port3_Currents_587", "Port1_Volt_8_Off" , "PortC_Volt_12", "PortX_Curre_589_On", "Curren_Port_1280_On","Currents_5sd_On_Port1","Port_Currents_587_On" };

 

How to find which rows have the most matching characters to a sample string and assign the most matched string from the list to the second column?

 

Any suggestions?
