Call a preset by nameIs it possible to call a preset by name from JSL?
I see the Apply Preset() JSL function but it seems to only work with a variable defined from New Preset().
Customer wants to ApplyPreset() with previously saved presets without having to define the preset with NewPreset() first.
Thanks,
Mark
Re: Call a preset by nameYes, you can.
//obj << Apply Preset( "<PRESET folder="">", "<PRESET name="">" );
Names Default To Here( 1 );
dt = Open( "$SAMPLE_DATA/Big Class.jmp" );
obj = dt << Oneway( Y( :height ), X( :sex ) );
Wait( 1 );
obj << Apply Preset( "Sample Presets", "Compare Distributions")</PRESET></PRESET>
Re: Call a preset by nameThanks Sam.
The mistake I was making was just calling the preset name as an argument in the ApplyPreset() function, but it looks like you also need to include the folder name as well which is not obvious but I do see an example of that in the scripting guide, but not in the scripting index help. Maybe we can include that specific example in the scripting index as that is usually the first place people look for scripting help.
