Traditionally, JMP is widely used in research and development for new product development in the manufacturing industry and for quality and process analysis at manufacturing sites. However, JMP's diverse and convenient functions can be widely used not only in areas such as research and development and manufacturing, but also in various tasks and processes such as marketing, human resources, finance, sales, and service support. In this presentation, JMP will be used in the sales area. I would like to share an example of how we used it in decision-making. Compared to researchers and engineers working in manufacturing or research institutes, salespeople often lack experience or knowledge related to statistics or data analysis. However, by utilizing the various functions of JMP, they can take their decision making and problem solving to the next level. We would like to share through examples that this can be done. The examples of B2B sales that we would like to present this time are 1) Creating a market map using internal/external data 2) Setting an appropriate price range through multiple regression analysis 3) Using Graph Builder Analysis of customer purchase patterns, etc. We hope that with this announcement, data analysis cases using JMP will expand in the sales field as well.
