JMP Korea successfully held the Discovery Seminar April 30. Initially, the event was scheduled to be held with 'JMP18 New' as the main theme, but due to the delay in the JMP18 release, the event was held to share user cases and user experience.
There were eight presentations over 4.5 hours. Country Manager Chulhee Min (@ChulHee_JMP) gave an opening speech on the topic ‘JMP’s journey, New Leap JMP18!’ and Sales Manager HoKeun Kil (@HoKeun_Kil) gave a closing speech of thanks. A little over 100 people from more than 60 organizations attended.
Attendees were impressed by JMP's powerful features and use cases. Above all, it was a meaningful event that provided deep in-person networking for all attendees, presenters, and JMP staff.
Here are the event agenda and some photos.
Chulhee Min welcomes attendees to the event.

Yield Enhancement Methodology in the electronics/semiconductor industry using JMP We will look at the concept of yield and classification of major defects in the electronics industry (Random Defect Fail, Parametric Fail, Systematic Fail) and ways to promote improvement to improve yield (by major defect category). We'll also look at how to manage yield using JMP's analytics capabilities. |

How I Use JMP to Solve Data Analysis Problems In data analysis, it is important to accurately identify the problem rather than the solution. Whether human (natural intelligence) or AI (artificial intelligence), the solution is to gain insight through many repetitions of responses to various conditions in data analysis. Through JMP, we would like to explain through examples the insight gained through the process of quickly obtaining the information needed for analysis and easily understanding the results. |

Accelerated degradation test analysis example using JMP Accelerated testing is widely adopted in the product development stage to verify the reliability of highly reliable products. However, a systematic approach process and advanced statistical analysis techniques are required to predict or verify lifespan under customer usage conditions based on performance degradation data obtained in harsh environments. In this seminar, we would like to introduce cases of using accelerated degradation tests, which are widely adopted in recent reliability evaluations, to verify reliability goals through the design and analysis. |

JMP Machine Learning Optimization from an Engineering Perspective In addition to the advantages of statistical analysis, JMP provides a complete design optimization process from an engineering perspective. In this presentation, we will look at the design of experiments, machine learning, and optimization functions that are core to the design optimization process provided by JMP. |
