60 people attended in person in the Tokyo officeJMP Japan recently organized a JMP 18 launch event, JMPer's Meeting 2024, sharing new features and tips for using JMP 18. The event took place in the SAS Tokyo office and was streamed at SAS Osaka office, with 83 total attendees (60 in Tokyo and 23 in Osaka). This was the first in-person event in 2024.
Attendees learned about new features of JMP, gathered information to promote JMP within their organization, heard from several speakers:
- Naohiro Masukawa, Product Marketing Group Manager at JMP Japan, introduced the main new features of JMP 18 in his talk "Deeper and more efficient data analysis with the new version of JMP 18."
- Mr. Tadashi Mitsui, a former Toshiba employee who is now a DOE consultant, spoke on the topic "Tips for Beginners on Using JMP." In addition to these tips, he shared things he has learned in his past job at Toshiba.
- Masakazu Okada, Pre/Post-Sales Systems Engineer at JMP Japan, gave a presentation titled "Introduction of My JMP - New User Management and Approval Methods."
After the three sessions, attendees had time to network. It was valuable for users to talk with each other and for JMP staff to hear directly from customers comments and advice. In closing the networking time, Mr. Mitsui encouraged attendees, "Everybody in here today, please be an evangelist of JMP at your organizations! Let's promote JMP together."
Mr. Mitsui has published books related JMP.
