Hi Everyone-
I find the STIPS video segments, data sets, and scripts really helpful in prepping for demos or customer calls for concepts that I am not familiar with. To quickly find helpful video segments, I built a script to browse the modules or carry out a keyword search. I thought this script might be useful to the SE community so I worked with Hyde to incorporate this in the JMP Training Starter. You can now access this in the STIPS Navigator personality:

After launching the script, you can choose to browse the modules or do a keyword search:

After selecting the video segment, press Get Video to launch the video in the window. You can also just copy/paste the URL into a browser if you prefer. If the video segment has an associated data set or script, another button will appear that allows you to launch the data table or run the associated script.

Note that if you choose to watch the video in the add-in, it seems that a VPN connection helps the video load much more quickly. If you are not on the VPN, be patient, it can take over 30 seconds for the video to launch the first time. Subsequent videos will load instantly, however (not sure why this is!).
Please let me know if you find any issues or bugs.
Thanks to @HydeMiller , @MikeD_Anderson , @mia_stephens, @nick_shelton for helpful discussions and support.
Brilliant idea @scott_allen! Love this!
Hi @scott_allen Could this be useful for the whole Community? If so, you can post as a public add-in and we can link to it from STIPs and/or incorporate it for users. Spread the good? @Ryan_Gilmore
@gail_massari , this uses a table of links to STIPS videos. Anyone within JMP is free to use this table to access videos outside of STIPS, but we're currently only sharing with customers if there is a signed agreement (see this page). This is, in part, to drive users to take STIPS, but it also helps control the external distribution of the video links. This is important because the videos are currently stored in a SAS Education Brightcove instance - this will likely change over the coming months.
So, please, let's not make this publicly available (at least for the time being). Thanks!
ok @scott_allen and @mia_stephens internal or approved it is. I am not publicizing.
