Custom Report using JSL (JMP Clinical)
Hello everyone, I am currently developing custom reports at JMP Clinical in response to a client's request.
It's a fairly simple task, but I'm shedding tears because I'm not familiar with JSL.
I would like to ask for help from proficient JMP Clinical users on this simple matter. When you click on 'Laboratory Test Results Box Plots' reports in JMP Clinical, a datatable named 'Laboratory Test Results Box Plots' is created. My custom report starts with loading this dataset, and I want to stack it and create the final report in Graph Builder. Could someone please help me with how to start loading this dataset created when clicking 'laboratory test results box plots'?

Re: Custom Report using JSL (JMP Clinical)Hello @HyeWonJung
Certainly don't want you shedding any tears! Assuming you're running JMP Clinical 18.0 (or even 17.x), you would normally start by making a copy of the report JSL file. In this case, that's the FindingsBoxPlots.jsl file that you will find in your C:\ProgramData\JMP\JMPClinical\18\Clinical\ProcessLibrary (JMP Clinical 18) or C:\ProgramData\SAS\JMPClinical\17\Clinical\ProcessLibrary (JMP Clinical 17). You can name the file whatever you like. I have attached a version called CustomFindingsBoxPlots.jsl with the changes described as comments in the code. Specifically, if you search for "HyeWon" you can see the places where I made changes to the standard report. For this example, I simply replicated the graph builder that is in the report, but you could create whatever graph builder/platform you wanted. You can also simply replace the graph builder that is specified in the original code. Since this is a copy of the entire report, you are free to do with it whatever like without fear of breaking the original.
I hope this helps answer your questions. Let me know how it goes!
Re: Custom Report using JSL (JMP Clinical)Hi @drewfoglia Thank you for such a kind comment for me within script. Using attached file where I've tried to create simple, silly, reports. The custom report requested by the client is more complex than I handle, although I couldn't wipe away all my tears, I managed to dry some of them. I believe I'll be able to wipe away the rest since Chris and Geoff have said they would help. :-)!!
Re: Custom Report using JSL (JMP Clinical)Ha! Great. As for the content of the report, I'm sure Chris and Geoff can get you sorted. Good luck!
