[Announcement summary]
The Prediction Profiler is a function that allows you to examine the change in the Y variable when the X variable is changed, and the settings of the X variable to achieve the target Y variable from the created predictive model. In JMP17, the function has been expanded to include the Design Space Profiler option, which is useful for finding the specification limits of the X variable that satisfy the specification limits of the Y variable. In addition, when using the Prediction Profiler in Fit Model, the Suppress Extrapolation option, which was previously only available in JMP Pro, is now available, which is useful for finding settings of the X variable that do not cause extrapolation. In this session, we will introduce how to use these functions with a demonstration of JMP.
