Fit Model > PLS > Issue that PLS profiler currently relies on predictor independenceJMP PLS Profiler relies on predictor independence and that assumption is strongly violated when PLS models are needed/applied.

Re: Fit Model > PLS > Issue that PLS profiler currently relies on predictor independenceThanks, silvio.silvio.
I'm archiving this one as a duplicate of Constrain the Profiler for PLS models.
Re: Fit Model > PLS > Issue that PLS profiler currently relies on predictor independenceJeff,
this is the same.
Nevertheless, I would like to have the general capability of constraining Profilers when ever dealing with correlated predictors (e.g. GLR, tree based methods, Neural Nets....). Also for these methods there is a high risk of predicting points outside the model space without being aware of this.

Re: Fit Model > PLS > Issue that PLS profiler currently relies on predictor independencesilvio.silvio, is this the same request as Constrain the Profiler for PLS models?
