Control charts used for process monitoring have the problem of false alarms occurring due to incorrect control chart or control limit settings. These false alarms not only reduce engineers or workers' unnecessary efforts to identify the cause and thus reduce their willingness to improve the process, but also lead to a decrease in trust in process monitoring. In order to apply a control chart, the normality and independence of the data must be reviewed in advance and the correct control limit must be calculated so that the average run length in the control state is 370, but this is often not the case. We would like to propose a method to implement a method for reviewing management limits using the bootstrap method in JMP.
