You may have been surprised to receive an email from JMPy, the unofficial mascot of JMP. Rest assured, it wasn’t spam. That email is the first edition of The Countdown, a weekly email updating you on the progress JMP is making toward hitting renewal revenue targets and transitioning legacy contracts.
But just who is JMPy? He’s a longtime presence around the halls of JMP. If you’ve ever been to the Cary campus, you will have seen him. He began life as a simple space suit that Jeff Perkinson wore to introduce JMP 8. John Mosier added a squirrel mask to him some years later, and a mascot was born!
We decided it was time he stopped lounging around and got to work.
