Costumize Non Linear model Library

Question

I am trying to insert into the model below into the library according to the pdf. Modeling and Multivariate methods (pag 267).

I open the NonlinLib.jsl file as a script via File\Open (ctrl+O) and then copy/past the lines above into the Listofmodellist#. I then try to run it or save it but It does not work. When saving it shows "I/O Problem File open on write mode".  When running it shows: "Unexpected "}". Perhaps there is a missing "," or ")".
Trying to parse arguments of function "Expr".
Line 391 Column 53: ...1; lowy = 0; highy = 1000►},..."

I do I open this script and be able to edit it ?

The script kind of runs but it does not achieve the required results.
I believe I have to set some constrains or may be I am doing something wrong.
I have just provided a reply to a member of staff that had written previously on the issue.
At the moment I am trying to run the fitting manually but it does not work:

* The number of iteration is being exceeded ( I even tried 1000 iterations);
* And/or the resulting parameter estimates are enormous or negative, which does not make sense.
I can run the model on Excel using the solver. When I do this my criteria is to minimize the Loss function and I achieve a convergence of R2 =0.99. I can't achieve the same results with JMP.

Does your script work on run now? Are you able to do the required nonlinear fit?

Maybe you don’t need to save this model to the library. If this is part of a scripted solution maybe you can just use the model definition in your script.

I will check this with our IT administrator. I am not able to save anything to this folder via JMP.
