JMP’s Discovery Summit conferences are the place for curious statisticians, scientists, and engineers to expand their network, learn more about JMP, uncover trends, and hear about best practices that can take their analytical discovery to the next level.
But all this goodness doesn't just magically materialize at the event. Many months of hard work and planning make JMP Discovery Summits extraordinary. In addition to the JMP staff, a dedicated group of volunteers, AKA JMP Steering Committee members, are working behind the scenes to make the experience one to remember.
To ensure that future JMP Discovery Summit attendees enjoy the same awesome experience past attendees have, we need your help identifying the next batch of Steering Committee members. Nominations are now open for Discovery Summit Americas. Individuals selected for the committee will help guide JMP Discovery Summit US for the next three years. These new members will join the steering committee after this year’s conference in October 2024.

JMP Discovery Summit Steering Committee Mission Statement:
The charter of the Discovery Steering Committee is to help grow the Discovery conference and grow the use of JMP software for statistical discovery outside of the conference. Members of the Committee advocate the use of advanced analytics and educate others about the many uses of JMP with the goal of nurturing budding analytic champions whose statistical analysis weapon of choice is JMP. Also, with the goal of nurturing JMP users – those at all levels of expertise, in a myriad of disciplines – Committee members work with SAS staffers to grow the Discovery conference annually into an important event that helps JMP users worldwide use the software more efficiently and comprehensively. Specific conference responsibilities include helping identify appropriate speakers, aiding in the selection of papers and posters, and acting as a host at the event in a variety of capacities. Committee members will also have a visible presence in conference promotional materials and will be expected to serve on the Committee for three years.
