Percent to blend antigen productionHi,
do we have any information/material or experiences with percent to blend for antigen production.
I have a customer asking for that, but I'm not sure what to expect/do with that.
Thanks,
Martin
Re: Percent to blend antigen productionMartin,
I think this might be an instance of where we need more information to help you. I am going to guess this is some sort of mixture problem but that is a guess with no information. I would ask for interpretation of what "percent to blend" means to them. Ask for a simple example. Once we understand the problem then we can better help guide them.

Re: Percent to blend antigen productionAntigen blending combines different antigens to enhance vaccine efficacy and immunotherapy by enhancing the immune response. It's used in vaccines for diseases with multiple strains (eg. flu). The optimal concentration of each antigen depends on the desired immune response and may require adjustments based on experimental results. Factors such as antigen potency, the presence of adjuvants, and the target species' immune response can influence the blend. To determine the most effective blend, a DOE approach in JMP can be utilized - methods like Mixture Design and RSM can be useful. Mixture Design helps in systematically varying the concentrations of multiple antigens to identify the optimal combination, while RSM can be used to explore and optimize the response surface of the antigen blend, ensuring a robust and effective vaccine formulation.
