Why JMP Pro?
Do you recognize that sometimes standard modelling methods do not address all your goals and questions? You don’t know why or may not know there is a better way. Are you interested in going beyond the modelization capabilities of JMP? In this session we will show you the differences between JMP and JMP Pro. JMP Pro can easily cope with messy data, if missing data or highly correlated variables. Why the use of cross validation can avoid overfitted models. Why the use of different flavors of partition techniques and Generalized regressions can overcome data problems. Saving time with one click to run all different models that summarizes all the model performance and help analyst pick the best model to be used. Functional Data Explorer for Spectral and Time Series Data.
The Functional Data Explorer platform is available in JMP Pro only. It is designed for data that are functions, signals, spectra, and series. It can be used as an exploratory data analysis tool or as a dimension reduction technique. In this session we will introduce the concept of functional data, how to clean and wrangle messy data and how to model functional data.
