Re: when I try to create Graph by GAJT i get the following error: "N Items() argument must be a list", does anyone familiar with this error?tedrei,
GAJT is an in-house InteI application. All errors should be reported to the GAJT application owner or get assistance from a local Intel statistician. GAJT has contact information for assistance.
The error you are seeing is saying there is a line of code has the statement N Items(var), where var is not a list. Each show statement below will generate that error, except line 7 since w is a list.
- Names Default to Here(1);
- x=20;
- w = {1,2,3,4,5};
- y = [1,2,3,4,5];
- y2 = transpose(y)*y;
- //run lines 6-10, 1 at a time, look at the JMP log
- show( N items(w));
- show( N items(x));
- show( N items(y));
- show( N items(y2));
- //run lines 13-19
- dt = open("$sample_data\Big Class.jmp");
- dumCol = dt << New Column("Dummy", Character);
- dumCol << Set Each Value ("A");
- biv1 = Bivariate(Y(:weight), X(:height), By(:sex));
- biv2 = Bivariate(Y(:weight), X(:height), By(:Dummy));
- //run one at a time lines 22 and 23
- show(n items(biv1));
- show(n items (biv2));
