What inspired this Wish List Request?
This request is aimed at rare event control charts (G and T). In Control Chart builder, these charts are easily created from the drop-down menu that changes Shewart Variables to Rare Event. When the control chart changes to a G chart, however, the Phase dropzone disappears.
Please describe the new or improved feature or solution you would like to see.
This request is to simply keep the Phase dropzone for both G and T charts. An inquiry into Tech Support suggested this is not a bug, but the Phase dropzone was not added to the rare event charts.
What would the value be to you and/or other users if this new feature is provided?
This type of control chart is routinely used in hospital settings where adverse events are tracked (infections, needle pricks, patient falls, etc.). Typically training or protocol changes are administered when the frequency of adverse events are unacceptable. A Phase dropzone will simplify comparisons between the times before and after corrective actions are put in place.
Is this an external customer request?
This was discovered during demos with a prospective customer UC Health and was a requirement for their use case.
Is there a competitive software package that has this feature or solution that we should be aware of?
Minitab, Advantive PQ Systems
Will this impact a renewal, expansion, or adoption at a customer, and does this put an account at risk if we do not address this?
This will standardize the platform so there is consistent dropzones/workflow for all the supported Control Charts
