What inspired this Wish List Request? Customer highlighted the lack of get limits support in Laney P' Charts as a gating factor for wider adoption of JMP in the manufacturing space. My understanding is that the customer has been reporting the issue for a couple of release cycles.
Please describe the new or improved feature or solution you would like to see. Currently trying to use LRT > Get Limits in the Laney P' Chart results in errors. I think this is due to the chart actually being a proportion relative to a second column. This needs to be corrected so that Get Limits will work with the chart.
What would the value be to you and/or other users if this new feature is provided? This has been highlighted as a potential gating factor for a JMP Live deal at Idexx with one stakeholder group.
Is this an external customer request? Idexx manufacturing operations
Is there a competitive software package that has this feature or solution that we should be aware of? They are currently using a Tableau report with custom scripting to do these charts, but would very much like to get away from them and standardize on JMP.
Will this impact a renewal, expansion, or adoption at a customer, and does this put an account at risk if we do not address this? This will impact expansion of existing JMP install base and adoption of JMP Live going forward.
