What inspired this Wish List Request?
Column names are limited to 255 characters. Nvidia has very long column names due to the practice they have of embedding test conditions within the column name. They are requesting the 255 limit be raised.

255 limit increased by 2x or more.
What would the value be to you and/or other users if this new feature is provided?
Nvidia able to import their product data into JMP without loss of column names.

Request from Nvidia's product engineering group (Rohit Kurane).
Is there a competitive software package that has this feature or solution that we should be aware of?

Will this impact a renewal, expansion, or adoption at a customer, and does this put an account at risk if we do not address this?
It is problematic for Nvidia and could impact their continued use of JMP if severe enough.
